My fellowship year is one of the best highlights of my career. Cases are plentiful and of high complexity. You have ample time to develop and execute your preoperative plan, which the attendings guide and mentor you into a reference for practice. The attendings are top AO educators who are highly involved and committed to helping you develop from a fellow into a surgeon who is ready for anything that comes through the front door of a Level 1 trauma center. The skills, fundamentals, and knowledge I learned during my time at Rutgers are a huge part of my current daily practice. I could not envision a better way to prepare for a life in orthopedic traumatology.
