Dr. Stephen Rossman is an orthopaedic surgeon at North Jersey Orthopaedic Institute (NJOI). He specializes in treating arthritic conditions of the hip and knee joint with a strong focus on patient education as part of his approach when caring for his patients. In addition, exploring non-operative treatment for arthritis is of the utmost importance to him.

If all nonoperative treatment options are exhausted, Dr. Rossman has the surgical expertise to perform partial and total joint replacements of the knee, and total joint replacement of the hip. He takes a multidisciplinary approach to complex issues, with interests in revision surgery for the treatment of joint infection, fracture, implant loosening and joint instability.

Dr. Rossman completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the University of Minnesota. He completed his orthopaedic residency as well as his orthopaedic surgery track internship through Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM), where he spent a year as Chief Resident.

Dr. Rossman received his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM). His undergraduate degree in biology was completed at Binghamton University.
